Certifications

Optima Naturals is committed to maintaining high quality standards at all stages of the production process and, where possible, to using certifications to further support quality:

UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 certification

The ISO 9000 series of standards were defined by the International Organisation for Standardisation to outline the requirements for quality management systems within companies.
ISO 9001 is the best known and most widely used standard for quality management systems around the world; it is a certificate that demonstrates that the company’s activities reflect the minimum requirements of ISO 9001. This allows the end customer to have full confidence that the services and products placed on the market correspond to certain specifications and that all the steps involved in their realisation are traceable and verifiable.
Optima Naturals is ISO 9001:2015 certified and is committed to the continuous and constant improvement of the company.

AIAB BIO ECO COSMETICS

AIAB (Associazione Italiana Agricoltura Biologica) certifies organic products made by Italian companies that prohibit the use of chemical pesticides and guarantee the use of non-irritating vegetable raw materials and ingredients from organic farming.
AIAB Bio Eco Cosmesi is the first recognition of organic cosmetics in Italy.

GMP (Good manufacturing practices)

GMP are Good Manufacturing Practices: they are a set of rules describing the methods, equipment, means and management of production to ensure appropriate quality standards.
First developed for pharmaceutical products, their application extends to all ‘health related’ products, such as food supplements, medical devices, biological derivatives and cosmetics. GMP refer to the entire manufacturing cycle, from raw materials to packaging, labelling and all other aspects of the production process, which is subjected to scrupulous checks and controls to ensure quality and protect the customer.
